This service is for returning patients at a low dose of Semaglutide. This monthly charge includes two biweekly clinic sessions. During the first monthly session we will perform an InBody to check your personalized comprehensive body composition (a $40 value). At each visit we will see how you are doing and administration medication. **This pricing is for the first tier of medication dosing. Additional charges will apply for subsequent dose increases. It is the same injectable medication that is used for type 2 diabetes, weight loss and to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death in specific people. Semaglutide works by regulating appetite and reducing calorie intake, leading to weight loss, helping with weight management and lowering the risk of heart attacks, strokes and cardiovascular death. Semaglutide is a prescription medicine given as an injection once-a-week given under the skin. Semaglutide belongs to the class of drugs called GLP-1 receptor agonists. GLP-1 receptor agonists are a manufactured version of GLP-1, a naturally occurring hormone in the body that acts in several areas in the brain to regulate food intake. When Semaglutide is administered, it activates the GLP-1 receptors in the brain. This lowers appetite, reducing the calories consumed and leading to weight loss.
